A Public Talk with Dr Jim Valby

at the University of Saskatchewan in 1983. He participates in Dzogchen Community translation projects to help prepare English translations of the principal early Tibetan texts of Dzogchen Semde, Longde and Upadesha. He has taught the essence of the theory and practice of Sutra, Tantra, and Dzogchen in more than 60 retreats in 20 countries. Jim lives in Western Massachusetts. Dr. Jim Valby has been a student of Dzogchen Master Chogyal Namkhai Norbu since 1982 and is authorized by him to teach the Base and Level One of Santi Maha Sangha. Jim earned his doctorate in Far Eastern Studies under Herbert V. Guenther
